The older twin smirked, while the younger was cowering behind him. "Kashie. I don't like this much. There's a God here. And we are definately outnumbered."
"Don't let them sense your fear, Brother." he held up his brothers face. "we can do this. We are the Guardians of the Gates after all."
!@#$%^&*(-)
Kou looked down, instantly recognizing the brothers. They had been childhood friends of his. He smirked. "We have nothing to fear now. They are down there. Come on. Let's go to Darkness. We'll meet them there."

Looking from Shall's group and the twins to Kou, and then back again, Adrian shrugged, letting the fire in his hand disperse. "If you say so." He was still nervous, looking over his shoulder every now and then. But one question kept running through his mind: What was up with Shall?
Sheathing her sword, the angel huffed. At least they didn't have to worry about being dragged into the fight. Hopefully. He moved to stand next to her brother, lightly ruffling his hair with a small smirk on her face. They had managed to avoid one battle, but how many more would they come across before they reached Darkness?

Kou led his group away from the scene, speaking softly to Ren so no one else would over hear.
Soon, after about an hour or so, they had reached the outskirts. "We will camp here for tonight." He said softly, placing down the bag he was carrying. Ren placed his pack down as well. The sun wouldn't set for another few hours. They could reach Darkness by then, so why had they stopped. "Kou?" he asked softly. But his brother was already long gone, staring off into space, hurt and betrayal in his eyes. he hid it well from the others, but decided that he needed some rest. he layed out the blanket that he carried with him, and curled up in a little ball.
Ren sighed and walked back to the group. "He's exhausted. I suppose we shall camp here for tonight, or at least until our leader regains his strength."
!@#$%^&*(-)
Shall huffed and glanced at the God. 'Your brother is on the other side of that door.'
"I can see my brother tonight. There is no reason for me to open the Forbidden Gates. Especially if the Guardians refuse it."
Shall growled again. Stupid corrupted Gods. He would find a way to get those damned gates open!
Jave was getting restless. "he won't open them! You called us here for nothing, you deliberately endangered my men and myself! I will not stand for such a thing from a low level demon like yourself!" Jave was really pissed now, ordering his men to retreat. Kaz was among them, just watching his master carefully. When he and Jave were the last two soldiers on the field, He sighed. Jave was glowing with pure rage. Kaz walked up to him, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"We do not tear apart our own kind Master. This is not a fight for today. Please resist." Jave growled, but turned and started walking away.
The God was also angered. "You lied to me demon. I will not stand for this." He disappeared in a flash of light, going back to the Domain ((a board i still need to make lol)).
"well well well. Seems like little demon boy is all alone." Kashin said smugly. "Rashie?"
He understood his brother's thoughts well.....

Adrian fell to the ground with a small thud, crossing his legs in the process. "We're finally reaching our destination. And with little trouble in the process!"
"Little?" snorted Ilari. "We nearly got killed more than once."
"Ah. But we're still alive, correct? That's what matters."
Her green eyes rolled. "He's right, Ilari. We would barely survive another fight." And now her own brother had turned against her.
"Traitor," she joked, socking him in the shoulder.
*.*.*.*.*.
Red eyes watched the group from a distance, ears flicking. The creature flicked its tail. Other creatures spread out, surveying the land and the group. Scents bombarded his nose, most of which were the familiar scents of demon. However, angel scent was present as well. Cautiously, it waited until the other four legged ones were in place, surrounding the small camp.

Ren was aware of the other demons around him. He didn't want to worry the others, but awoke Kou. "Kou. wake up... we're surrounded."
Kou's lightly colored eyes opened wearily as he sat up. "What? Food where? You liar!" He also was aware of it, but also did not wish to worry his members.

Once all the other creatures were in place, the lighter pelted one made itself known, getting onto all fours from the crouched position it was in. Tail down and a relaxed aura around it, it showed to be a dog, a rather large one at that. Triangle ears flicked once as it paused at the edge of the camp, between some of the other creatures and the band. "Excuse my intrusion, but you are nearing Darkness and angels are in your presence."
Adrian looked at the dog, more shocked that it had talked than the fact that it had insulted Ilari and Nickle. He blinked at the canine.
"And what of it, fleabag? You trying to start something?" Ilari glared at the white pelted dog.
"Not at all." It shook its head, lowering its haunches to the ground.

Kou raised a hand to silence his not angered party. "Please. We mean no harm. They are among the PeaceKeepers I assure you. I am their leader. We mean no insult to you or your group. My name is Kou, and this is Ren, Ilari, Nickle, and Adrian. There are not many of us at the mement. But we are running short on supplies and would like to do business in Darkness, since the Angels refuse to listen to us." He dipped his head politely, holding up both of his hands to signal peace.

If a dog could, it would have been smiling. "I know of who you are. There would be no other group that allowed angels to travel with them unbound." The canine dipped his head towards Kou. "I am Dunya, Second in-Command of the demon army. My leader Luca wishes to welcome you once you arrive at the city. We've done business with your group before under a different leadership."
"We're being greeted by a dog and his pack. Why does this seem strange?" Adrian asked no one imparticular.

Kou smiled lightly. "Would you be willing to provide escort?" He asked, knowing that it would be much safer to travel with the pack of demons than all alone.
"Hey! Guys! Look at the traitorous bastard we caught!"
"Kashin! Rashin! Nice to see-" Kou stopped, sending a glare at his brother.
"Something tells me the Leader of Peace wants to do something not so Peaceful to this here pile of dirt." Kashi said, forcing Shall to his knees in front of Kou.

"Of course. It's the least I can do for the Peacekeepers." Standing, Dunya flicked his tail and ears in a series of different movements. The other demons crouched down, keeping tails against the ground and non-threatening positions. They stayed like that for a minute before rising, going to wait behind their recon group leader. Red eyes glanced at the three new demons. This was certainly an odd sight.
The fire demon glared at Shall, as did Ilari. They weren't going to forget this very quickly. "What should we do with him, Kou? String him up by his toes and let the angels deal with him?" growled Ilari, holding herself back from doing anything.

"No. I have a better idea. We'll take him to Darkness with us. That demon he pissed off earlier is probably looking for someone to maul." Kou was heartless at the moment. He could care less what they chose to do. "You don't go pissing off Demon Army Generals."
He glanced at the brothers. "Would you care to accompany us?"
"Eh why not? Guarding those Gates all day can be so boring!"

"Demon... General?" Red eyes blinked, nose twitching in thought. "Dark looking fellow? Light brown haired male with him?" He looked from Kou to Ren, head tilted to the side. If it was who he thought it was, then Luca would be in a very quiet mood, thinking, if anything.
Adrian grinned at the twins. "Welcome aboard. If you have any complaints, direct them to that lady over there." He pointed to Ilari on purpose, knowing how indifferent she could be towards others she rarely knew.

Kou nodded. "He should know their names."
Shall nodded. 'Javelin and Kazure. They are with the Demon Army are they not?'

"Yes. What were they doing out here? Luca told me nothing about sending them here. Tell me, what you know about their being here? It's important for when we get to Darkness." Dunya glanced at Shall before directing his attention to the group of Peacekeepers.
"They were with Shall here trying to open the Gates," Nickle started. "Once the Gate Guardians showed, they left."
Head lowered, eyes darting to the side. "I see. Anything else I should know of?"

"We have a feeling it was his fault!" Both Guardians pointed to Shall, who nodded slowly. "he even went through the trouble of hiring a God! Not that we'd ever let anyone without honorable intentions open that Gate, God or not. Like Kou here!" Kashie wrapped an arm around Kou's shoulder. "Kou, provided he had an army of thousands and a few Gods and all the right criteria, could open The Gates no problem!"
